Medical Billing Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Medical Billing Specialist for our healthcare client that focuses on behavioral health in Portland, OR. This role will be 100% onsite during the contract tenure and has the potential to become a permanent opportunity. The role will be focused on full revenue cycle billing and interested applicants must have full cycle experience, preferably within behavioral health. The role can be based out of multiple sites throughout the Portland area based on where applicants sit.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years medical billing/revenue cycle experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EMR Systems, and clearinghouses
Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially phone etiquette
Ability to work independently and hit production metrics as given by management
Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment and stay organized throughout the day
Tech savvy and able to work within multiple database systems
Knowledgable of all insurances including OR/WA Medicaid
